Smaller than you'd think...

Smaller than you'd think... but no less capable.
After watching countless review videos online, I decided on the PS4. But despite so many videos, it was still much smaller than it looked!
It must be remembered that the Squirt is a micro-multitool, designed to live on your keyring.
Just as a multitool is not a full-sized tool and will be trumped by a proper screwdriver, woodsaw, or whatever - The Squirt is not a full-sized multitool and not designed to take the place of one. It's for those moments when you can't carry, or are caught without, anything else.
Having said that, the Squirt performs admirably, with all tools accessible when the pliers are closed.
As a personal test in my most common environment, I built two complete PCs and customised a third (including watercooling it) using just my Squirt, during which it did everything I needed without a hint of difficulty.
Obviously not a heavy-duty blade, but certainly sharp and certainly more than enough to handle all those brief moments of daily life where you need packets opened, fruit sliced, strings cut, letters opened, pencils sharpened, and so on.
The blade is ground on one side only, making for quick and easy re-sharpening.
Dinky little things, not quite hefty enough for thick fingernails perhaps, but will handle paper, cotton wicking, thin wires, denim and leather fabrics, sandpaper, most kinds of thread and even plastic milk bottles. The spring and pivots are solid and the blades rub snugly against each other rather than splaying around either side of what you're trying to cut. They're also pointed, so work well for delicate work such as clipping tiny cable ties in the back of PC cases.
Flat & Phillips Screwdrivers
Technically there are three of these, as the Phillips doubles as a small flat while the bottle opener has the large flat covered. Obviously limited to certain sizes, but those I have tried worked wonderfully in all different types of screw.
I wouldn't want to see how much force the large flat can withstand when used as a mini-pry bar, but again for small things like prising open computer cases, it gets you out of trouble.
Being very small, it takes a few goes before you figure out the best technique, that of hooking the tooth directly under one of the pleats at a sharp angle. However, while it takes a moment of focus rather than simply whipping off the cap as you would with a purpose-made bottle opener, this is still a perfectly servicable feature.
Debatably the weakest feature of the Squirt, as you can't put down the sort of force you'd normally use on a file. But again, for those quick little off-the-cuff jobs, it is quite usable.
Two sides, one coarse, one fine. Works very well on all those little chips and nicks that things pick up. Does plastic rather well and the fine side is servicable for fingernails. In short order I was able to file away nicks and burrs before finishing to a nice smooth surface.
These are smaller than they look as well, which is always good for Needlenoses. They're small enough to use for building vape coils, but the Regular section is still big enough to handle nuts around 12mm. The teeth are nice and grippy and the action is sprung on both arms. It also disengages when you fold the pliers away, which is a nice touch.
The wire cutters are sharp and when closed overlap by about 1.5mm. This lets them very cleanly cut electrical wires up to 4.5mm without the slightest problem.
